When you visit seeszn.com, our hosting provider automatically records standard access data for us: your IP address, browser type, operating system, the referring URL, and the pages you open. We use this data only to run the website securely and keep it working. We do not link it to your identity.

If you write to us by email or through a form on this website (contact, project enquiry, early access), we process your name, your email address, your company website if you give it, and your message. We use this data only to answer you and to prepare an offer if you asked for one. Enquiries are stored in our database and delivered to our inbox by our email provider (see section 08).

If you ask for a free check of your website, we process the domain and the email address you enter. To analyse the domain we use search and AI services from Google, SerpApi and Open PageRank. We send them the domain and the search questions we derive from it. We do not send them your name or your email address. The check only looks at information that is publicly available about the website.

When you order, we process your email address, your company name, your billing address, your tax ID if you give one, what you ordered, and your briefing (the page to link to, your topic and your notes). We need this data to fulfil the contract, to invoice you and to send you the list of your links.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card or bank details go directly to Stripe. We never see or store them in full. Stripe also uses data such as your IP address and device information to prevent fraud, to offer you your local currency and to meet its own legal duties. For this Stripe acts on its own responsibility. Details: stripe.com/privacy.

Receipts and invoices are sent to you by Stripe on our behalf.

If we give you access to a client area, you sign in with a link we send to your email address. We process your email address and the sign-in data needed to keep you logged in.

This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics tools that identify you. No profiling takes place.

We only use what is technically necessary. Your choice of light or dark design is saved in your browser. On checkout pages Stripe sets cookies (__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid) that are required to process payments securely and to prevent fraud. In the client area a session cookie keeps you signed in.

We work with the following providers. Each one receives only the data it needs for its task.

We do not sell your data and we do not pass it on for advertising.

We are based in the USA, and so are several of our providers. Your data is therefore also processed in the USA. For data from the EU, the UK and Switzerland we rely on the safeguards the law provides for such transfers, in particular the EU standard contractual clauses and, where a provider is certified, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

If the GDPR applies to you, we process your data on these grounds: to fulfil a contract or to answer your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), to meet legal duties such as keeping invoices (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), and for our legitimate interest in a secure, working website and in preventing fraud (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to have its processing restricted, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to processing that is based on our legitimate interests. To use any of these rights, write to hello@seeszn.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU, you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Enquiries: only as long as necessary to handle your request, and no longer than 12 months unless a longer period is required by law.

Access log data: deleted after 30 days.

Orders, briefings and invoices: for as long as tax and accounting rules require, usually seven years.

Client area data: until your access ends.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the bottom of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
